Purpose Unleashed Publishing & Marketing

I had been wanting to write a book for over five years, and could never seem to get the project moving. It wasn't until there was a painful catalyst in my career path that pushed me to stop procrastinating and begin really planning and pursuing those things I deemed important, that my writing began in earnest.

In 2006, I began the journey of putting my ideas, knowledge and passion on paper. I wrote every day for 3 hours (sometimes staring at a black screen the entire time), and after a few months, my manuscript was finally completed.

Then, there was publishing ...and I was scared stiff!

I entered into my first publishing contract and a few months later, I was a published author, proudly holding my own writing in my hands.

To make a long story short, my publisher got the better end of our publishing deal and after all the work, sweat, and tears, I was left struggling as an author with no real direction. 

That's when I made the decision to learn self-publishing and created my own imprint for my personal use.

While I had no intention of offering publishing services to anyone else, people started to notice what I was doing and started asking for my advice, suggestions, and guidance; then, they started asking for me to do publishing services for them - and that's how I got into the business, and Purpose Unleashed Publishing & Marketing was launched to the public.
